Fans React to Chidinma’s First Performance Since Quitting Capital Hills Records

Months after parting ways with her record label, Chidinma is back on stage doing what she does best- singing.
In March, the Kedike singer reportedly dropped her label, Capital Hills Music/The Goretti Company, owned by prolific video director Clarence Peters and rapper IllBliss, after her 5-year contract with them expired. During her time with the label, Chidinma failed to release an album, causing fans to speculate that it was the reason she decided to call it quits with the company.
There were other reports that she may have joined Flavour’s label, 2nite Music group after he unveiled her as his first Lady.  However, not much has been heard from the singer since then except for her collaboration with Flavour on his song Mama.
Then early this morning, Chidinma shared a video of her first performance in a long time which took place in Cotonou, Benin Republic. The 25-year-old singer is currently there with other artistes such as Toby Grey and Project Fame’s Anderson for the MTN Star show.
She thrilled the crowd with an exceptional performance of her hit song You and I.
