Kunle Afolayan Teaching His Children How To Speak Yoruba

Top movie director, Kunle Afolayan, is one man who is proud of his roots and language, Yoruba.
Yesterday, the award-winning filmmaker formally introduced his four children to the world. Naturally, many would have thought his kids would speak English (probably laced with American/British accents), but Kunle surprised his fans as his kids gave their names and schools in his native language, Yoruba.
In the adorable video, The C.E.O producer’s four children talked about their state of origin and what they had for breakfast. At some point, Kunle corrected his third born after she erroneously called onions , Elubo (yam flour), instead of Alubosa.

Kunle Afolayan is known to be quite invested in cultural preservation. He started his career in the Nigerian movie industry by acting in a couple of popular Yoruba movies such as Agogo Eewo and Saworoide. In April, Kunle went on a quest in Rio, Brazil, to expand his knowledge of the Yoruba culture and tradition.
